Description

This assay provides absolute cell counts and percentages for CD4, CD8, CD3 T cell subsets, CD19 B cell subsets, and NK cells.

Handling Instructions

Specimens must be tested within 24 hours of collection for this FDA assay. For samples received > 24 hours after collection, test will be canceled and a re-draw will be requested. Specimens must be transported at room temperature. Refrigerated or frozen specimens will be canceled and a re-draw will be requested.

Stability: 24 hours @Room Temperature

SPS: Sample can be shared with CBC. Do not add on test if sample will be received in the Hematopathology lab outside the 24-hour stability limit. If sample is approaching 24 hour stability limit, contact hematopathology lab (206-606-7060) to notify them that a specimen is coming and send immediately.

Outside Laboratories: Specimens must be tested within 24 hours of collection. For samples received > 24 hours after collection, test will be canceled and a re-draw will be requested. Contact Lab Med Call Center 206-685-6066 to discuss transportation options. Specimens can be sent directly to the hematopathology lab as well (include contact info).
