Handling Instructions

Outside Laboratories: Centrifuge sample and transfer serum or plasma to a separate plastic vial within 2 hours of collection. Refrigerate serum/plasma while awaiting shipment. Transport with a cold pack.

Stability: Refrigerated (preferred): 12 days; Frozen: 2 months; Ambient: 2 hours.

Reject Due To: Gross lipemia. Hemolysis or icterus is acceptable.
