Interpretation
- Method
Cultured on Chromogenic agar which is incubated for 72 hours and Salt Sabouraud Dulcitol broth which is incubated for 5 days and subcultured for an additional 2 days. TAT for a negative culture in 7 days.

Amies transport swab is also acceptable.
Universal transport media is not acceptable.

Transport swabs at room temperature. Specimens will be rejected if received after 48 hours.
