1. Tests will route to a UDEC/HDEC label.
2. Once decanted, 2 or 3 secondary CIDs will be generated depending on the test ordered.
• HAUTO, aliquot code RX23B- Sample for HMC automation line. To be aliquoted into BD sterile vacutainer tube.
• HXURIN, aliquot code RN34A- Sample for HMC storage. Place sticker on original container after making other necessary aliquots. To be stored in/sent to HMC fridge even if empty.
Outside Laboratories: Specimen should be frozen if transport to Lab Medicine will take >24 hours
