Description

Chemically-bound nitrogen is oxidized to nitric oxide at high temperature in a pyrotube and converted to nitrogen dioxide by ozone. A specific chemiluminescent emission from nitrogen dioxide is detected by PAC ElemeNts analyzers. Quantitative results are reported between 5 to 36,000 mg/L. Assay imprecision is less than 10%.
