Collection: Fresh RANDOM URINE-Prefer “clean-catch” mid-stream collection in sterile cup or yellow top urine collection tube (UA no additive)
Handling Instructions: The Laboratory should receive the specimen within 2 hours of collection. If Delayed, sample should be refrigerated.
Quantity: requested: 15 mL urine
minimum: 2 mL urine (1 mL on infants)
