Collect 10 mL random urine in a sterile urine collection container.

Outside Laboratories:

Mix sample thoroughly and aliquot urine into a separate screw-top plastic vial, leaving room for expansion. Freeze urine at -20°C while awaiting shipment. Transport samples on dry ice.
Optional: Include any relevant clinical information on the DLMP requisition.

Stability: Frozen (preferred): 1 month; Refrigerated: 8 hours; Ambient: 2 hours.

Receiving Instructions
