Handling Instructions

Outside Laboratories:

  • Transfer 10 mL urine to a separate plastic aliquot, filling the tube completely to prevent loss of volatile compound in the head space.
  • Refrigerate sample while awaiting shipment. Transport with a cold pack.

Stability: Refrigerated (Preferred): 14 days; Frozen: 180 days; Ambient: Unacceptable.
