For HPV only testing by self-collection.
High Risk HPV genotypes included are 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66 and 68. Genotyping for HPVs 16 and 18 are integrated into testing and reporting.

1. Verify collection tube is not expired and has been appropriately labeled with patient identifiers (2).
2. Twist cap to break seal and pull out swab
3. Insert into vagina as far as possible without pain (similar to a tampon) and gently rotate at least one full turn.
4. Place swab back into tube and close it.
5. Return specimen to clinic staff.
- Handling Instructions
Transport at room temperature. Send to lab as soon as possible.
Self-Collect specimens are to be transported DRY and are viable for 2 weeks dry, do NOT add any preservative to the tube before or after collection.
